Abstract:
The Bulgarian legislation is in a process of harmonization with the acquis in this field and the governmental strategy in this field is not fully developed at the time being.
The National Ecological Alliance, an NGO, specialized in the field of environment protection, in close collaboration with the Euro Info Centre-Sofia with the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in the organisation of an information campaign on the Eco Design strategy, tools and methods.
The main objectives of the campaign to improve the preparedness of the EE SMEs for the forthcoming EU membership, raising their awareness of the ECo Design approach and the benefits for the business of its application.
