Abstract:
The main topic was to introduce the area of LCA by looking for an LCA for a typical electric product, a transformer. Also the opportunities with the simplified LCA methods was illustrated. The ABB methodology in product design was presented and their different decision points were environmental aspects is analysed were illustrated with examples. Tools, practical working methods and personal experience was presented. Also the DANTES tool was introduced for the participants and simplified LCA was performed for a dummy product. http://www.dantes.info
