Abstract:
CRYOPLANE: Liquid Hydrogen Fuelled Aircraft ? System Analysis, 2000-2002, funded by the 5th RTD Framework EU Programme .
This program aims at the systematic analysis of planes designed to use liquid hydrogen as fuel. The analysis includes the following: technological feasibility, safety, economic viability and the environmental repercussions of using hydrogen as aircraft fuel. The environmental study was compiled from Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of both kerosene and hydrogen, and their comparison. between them.

Feasibility study of databases and websites on the adoption of LCA by SMEs
Objective: a) the analysis of availability and infrastructure of public information and private data about LCA and the differences that exist between EU countries, b) the technical and economic viability of website for the adoption of LCA by SMEs.
