ASIMELEC (Spanish Communications and Electronics Companies Association), and fulfilling the environmental commitment acquired by the manufacturing companies of E&E, has performed diverse actions in the last years to give answer to the necessity of offering an effective solution to the problem of the increasing generation of waste produced in the end of the life utility of E&E. As a result of this progressive awareness on the environmental problem of waste, ASIMELEC has designed and put in practice the next initiatives,

• ECOFIMATICA, Foundation for the environmental management of office computer equipments
  Its objective is the design, organisation and management of an integrated waste management system of reprography equipment and office computerization waste.

• ECOPILAS, Foundation for the management of batteries
  ECOPILAS is the foundation for the environmental management of batteries
  The Object of ECOPILAS is the creation of an Integrated waste management system for batteries, and storage batteries waste

• TRAGAMÓVIL, Foundation for the management of mobiles phones
  TRAGAMÓVIL is a campaign organized by ASIMELEC to collect and to recycle the mobile telephones and their complements that, because they are damaged or because we do not use them (nor we are going to use them again), we have at home occupying space or we throw to rubbish.
