Abstract:
ARCTIC S.A. manages the leadfree transition process in close cooperation with their suppliers, being a good example, how supply chain issues for eco-design could work: ARCTIC, being a major manufacturer of white goods in Romania, invited their domestic and foreign suppliers to discuss RoHS issues in a cooperative way. This activity helped to find a common understanding of the related issues and to support the suppliers for a smoother transition process. This activity was appreciated by the suppliers and ARCTIC will manage the transition process well in advance of the RoHS deadline.
